PUBLIC BETA

Understand your GoMining maintenance in your AI chat.

Ask a question in Claude / ChatGPT. Flywheel calculates from the assumptions you confirm, so you can understand daily maintenance, GOM payment differences and your maintenance buffer.
The calculator connector is open for public beta use. Maintenance, GOM/locks and reinvestment comparisons need no Flywheel account. Protected tools use your Flywheel membership; creating a free account does not unlock PLUS.

What you can compare

The pilot uses inputs you supply, not your real fleet. Public calculators need no account. Advanced calculations require Flywheel sign-in, explicit approval and the matching membership entitlement. Review the client name and return destination before approving. A connection does not grant extra membership features.
The calculator can compare maintenance with and without GOM payment, estimate loose-GOM coverage and a reserve, and report remaining assets. It asks for the miner type, calculation date and relevant assumptions rather than treating an example as your actual fleet.
No GoMining credentials, wallet access, trades, purchases or transfers. Saved plans are outside this pilot. Prices and rates in a calculation are assumptions; this is not an automatic live account or market-data refresh.

Three questions to try

Choose a comparison. Confirm the miner kind and planning start date, then answer the remaining questions in stages.

1. Compare maintenance

Use Flywheel to compare maintenance. First confirm the miner kind: ordinary purchased, Bonus or Greedy, and the planning as-of date, not the purchase date. Ask for TH, W/TH and the remaining assumptions in short stages. Do not invent values or calculate before confirmation.

2. Compare loose GOM and locks

Using the confirmed miner and planning date, compare keeping GOM loose with locking some. Ask for both positions, an assumed reward rate and the comparison period. Show maintenance coverage and all remaining assets. Do not assume lock expiry or eligibility.

3. Compare reinvestment routes

Using confirmed inputs, compare retaining BTC, reinvesting in GOM, reinvesting in TH and switching from TH to BTC partway through. Ask for missing prices, fees, duration and capacity assumptions. Show ending BTC, loose GOM, locked GOM and TH; do not invent a whole-portfolio winner.
FICTIONAL WORKED EXAMPLE

100 TH at 12 W/TH: what changes with GOM payment?

Example date: 19 October 2026. One ordinary purchased miner, 100 TH at 12 W/TH. Starting assets: 250 loose GOM and 250 locked GOM. Starting BTC is not supplied; the result shows newly retained BTC only. No purchases, reinvestment or transfers.
Download fictional example inputs
Assumed maintenance: $0.01 per TH/day at the reference efficiency of 15 W/TH, including a fixed service component of $0.002 per TH/day. Only the remaining electricity component scales with efficiency. Assumed VIP discount: 2%; service-button discount: 3%, with 100% success; GOM-payment discount: 20%. These discounts are additive in this example.
Other fictional assumptions: GOM $0.40; BTC $80,000; production 50 sats per TH/day; reserve target seven days. Locked rewards assumed at 0.01 GOM per locked GOM per week, settled on Tuesday: none settle on this example’s Monday. These are illustrative inputs, not current provider rates or a forecast.
Daily cost before discounts:
100 × [0.002 + (0.01 − 0.002) × 12 ÷ 15] = $0.84
Without GOM payment:
$0.84 × (1 − 0.02 − 0.03) = $0.798/day
With GOM payment:
$0.84 × (1 − 0.02 − 0.03 − 0.20) = $0.630/day
Difference: $0.168/day under these assumptions.
At $0.40 per GOM, maintenance uses 1.575 GOM/day. A seven-day reserve is 11.025 GOM. The initial 250 loose GOM covers about 158.73 days at this constant daily cost, ignoring future rewards, top-ups and changes in rates. Locked principal cannot pay maintenance. The reserve is earmarked within the loose balance, not an additional deduction or lock.
After the first day, paying maintenance with GOM:
248.425 loose GOM · 250 locked GOM · 100 TH · 0.00005 BTC newly retained.
The BTC is that day’s fictional gross production: 100 × 50 sats = 5,000 sats. Maintenance was paid from loose GOM. It is not a return guarantee or a valuation combining BTC, GOM and miner capacity. The output matches the fictional maintenance fixture exercised in the private Claude / ChatGPT pilot.

Calculations and membership

Compare maintenance, loose GOM versus locks and BTC/GOM/TH reinvestment. Eligible members can also use the actual Day Two+ PLUS and Horizons calculations. Saved plans and GoMining account access are not included.
Day Two+ PLUS requires active paid PLUS or Founder access. Horizons follows eligible PLUS access, including an eligible trial or preview. Basic accounts without eligible trial/preview access cannot use advanced tools.
Beta limits: up to 3 entered miners, 365 days and USD10,000 for advanced comparisons. Horizons models one additional miner. Usage limits and AI-provider limits apply. No saved plans, recurring capital, lock-expiry modelling or Greedy organic growth.
Tested with custom connections in Claude and ChatGPT. Directory listings are not yet published or approved. AI-provider account and plan restrictions may apply.

Public calculations need no Flywheel login. For protected calculations, use OAuth, sign in on Flywheel and review calculator consent. Never enter login codes in chat. ChatGPT custom OAuth setup: wait for discovery, use dynamic client registration, turn off automatic OIDC scopes, leave its OIDC scope list empty and use offline_access as the base scope; the tool adds openid. Do not request email/profile or enter a client secret. If setup fails, contact support rather than changing permissions.
