INDEPENDENT • NOT AFFILIATED WITH GOMINING
An independent planning companion for GoMining
GoMining runs the digital miners and BTC rewards. Flywheel helps you plan TH, GOM and maintenance before you choose what to do in GoMining.

Reinvest Bitcoin rewards or keep the BTC?
Reinvestment spends rewards today to change future holdings. Compare the same fleet, budget and time period; more TH does not automatically mean more retained BTC.
Independent of GoMining. Public reading requires no account. Flywheel may receive referral rewards or affiliate commissions from links elsewhere on the site; that commercial interest does not establish these outcomes. These guides contain no provider referral purchase link.
Three reward destinations
Keeping BTC retains rewards after applicable fees. GOM reinvestment buys tokens with a documented 2.25% conversion fee. TH reinvestment buys power for one eligible miner, adding future production and maintenance. Enter your actual bonus: GoMining documents +5% from Silver I and +10% from Diamond I. Locked GOM is not a spendable maintenance reserve.

Assume 100 TH, 100 sats/TH/day gross, BTC USD 100,000 and USD 4/day maintenance paid from BTC. Net rewards are USD 6/day: keeping BTC for 30 unchanged days gives 0.00180000 BTC. Converting only the first day’s USD 6 at GOM USD 0.40 buys 14.6625 GOM after the 2.25% fee. At USD 20/TH with no bonus, it buys 0.3 TH instead. Do not also count that spent BTC as retained. These are teaching assumptions, not current rates or a compounding forecast.
6 / 100000 * 30 = 0.00180000 BTC
6 * (1 - 0.0225) / 0.40 = 14.6625 GOM
6 / 20 = 0.3 TH

TH targets require 10–5,000 TH, efficiency better than 20 W/TH and sufficient daily rewards; MNPL, listed and subscribed miners are excluded. Bonus rewards can reinvest after a qualifying direct GoMining miner purchase, but the Bonus Miner cannot receive TH. Marketplace ownership alone does not establish qualification. Funded TH stops at 5,000 TH; Greedy weekly growth is separate. In Day Two+ PLUS, compare keeping BTC with TH-first strategies and inspect the proposed switch day. Prices, difficulty, halvings and fees can reverse the outcome. Saving inputs does not save a guaranteed result or refresh provider data.
